Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking a mobile plant service technician to maintain and repair heavy equipment on-site in Townsville and surrounding areas. You will work with a safety-first approach and deliver reliable service to keep client operations running smoothly.

This role requires proven repair experience on Komatsu machinery, strong problem-solving and communication skills, and the ability to work autonomously in remote locations.

Qualifications

• Mobile plant trade certificate or equivalent.
• Proven experience repairing and maintaining Komatsu equipment.
• Strong relationship-building skills, both internally and externally.
• Ability to work unsupervised and autonomously.
• Excellent problem solving and communication skills.
• Commitment to safety and ability to work in remote areas.
• Valid MR Class Driver’s Licence desirable.

As part of our Site Support team, you'll become an indispensable asset to our customers, committed to delivering excellence every step of the way as you ensure our equipment equipment operates safely and efficiently on-site.

In this role, you will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairing Komatsu's heavy equipment and other machinery, ensuring safety, quality, and operational reliability.

Roster: 7:7 roster, 12-hour shifts, primarily day shifts with occasional night shifts.

Annualised salary: Competitive Salary + Tool of Trade Vehicle + Overtime + Field Service Allowance

Role Located: Townsville (Collinsville & Bowen Basin)
