AngloGold Ashanti Australia Limited is seeking an Electrical Technician to join the Projects & Infrastructure team at Tropicana Gold Mine. You will handle non-process infrastructure maintenance, minor projects, statutory electrical testing, and daily facility inspections to ensure continuous availability across non-process areas.

Ideal candidates hold an A-grade WA electrical license, CMMS/SAP experience, and the ability to obtain a National Police Clearance.

Qualificações

• WA A-grade electrical license is mandatory.
• Open cabling registration Cat5/6 and ACMA registration preferred.
• CMMS experience (SAP preferred) is desirable.
• National Police Clearance ability required.
• Permanent work rights in Australia mandatory.

Responsabilidades

The Opportunity

We are currently seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Projects & Infrastructure team at Tropicana Gold Mine.

Accountable to the Appointed Electrical Supervisor NPI, this role is responsible for completing planned, scheduled, and reactive work orders on all non-process infrastructure, including, but not limited to, the camp village, administration facilities, warehouses, and water services. You will also be responsible for providing specialist input and advice to ensure all facilities and infrastructure are fully available at all hours of the mining operations.

About the Role

• Non-process infrastructure maintenance and repairs
• Execution of minor project works
• Conducting statutory electrical testing
• Completing daily facility and infrastructure inspections to support continuous improvement
• Fault finding and repairing commercial-grade kitchen appliances and industrial laundry machinery
• Generator operation and fault finding
• 3ø test and tag and use of VRD test equipment
• Maintaining inventory and stock levels
• Assisting other trades within the team as required

• A current A-grade WA electrical worker’s license issued under the Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991
• Certificate IV in Instrumentation is desirable but not essential
• Data cabling qualifications: Open cabling registration with structured cabling (Cat 5 & 6) endorsement. Registered with ACMA.
• CMMS experience, preferably with SAP, is desired but not essential
• A current WA ‘C’ class driver’s license
• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance
• Ongoing permanent work rights in Australia are mandatory
