AngloGold Ashanti Limited is seeking an Electrical Technician for the Projects & Infrastructure team at the Tropicana Gold Mine in Western Australia. The role focuses on maintaining non-process infrastructure across camp facilities, admin buildings, warehouses, and water services, providing specialist input to ensure full availability of facilities during mining operations.

Competenze

• Current A-grade WA electrical worker’s license.
• Data cabling qualifications: Cat 5 & 6 with ACMA endorsement.
• CMMS experience, preferably SAP, is desired.

Mansioni

• Conducting statutory electrical testing.
• Completing daily facility and infrastructure inspections to support continuous improvement.
• Fault finding and repairing commercial-grade kitchen appliances and industrial laundry machinery.

We are currently seeking an Electrical Technician to join our Projects & Infrastructure team at Tropicana Gold Mine.

Accountable to the Appointed Electrical Supervisor NPI, this role is responsible for completing planned, scheduled, and reactive work orders on all non-process infrastructure, including, but not limited to, the camp village, administration facilities, warehouses, and water services. You will also be responsible for providing specialist input and advice to ensure all facilities and infrastructure are fully available at all hours of the mining operations.

About You

• A current A-grade WA electrical worker’s license issued under the Electricity (Licensing) Regulations 1991


• Certificate IV in Instrumentation is desirable but not essential


• Data cabling qualifications: Open cabling registration with structured cabling (Cat 5 & 6) endorsement. Registered with ACMA.


• CMMS experience, preferably with SAP, is desired but not essential


• Ability to obtain National Police Clearance


• Ongoing permanent work rights in Australia are mandatory
