About The Role

As a Technical Test Analyst at Essential Energy, you will play a key part in ensuring our digital solutions are robust, reliable, and fit for purpose. You’ll play a key role in establishing and leading the test automation capability and be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing thorough testing across the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), collaborating closely with development, QA teams, and business stakeholders. Your work will help ensure that software and hardware releases meet documented requirements and are delivered with minimal risk. You’ll report on Test Automation objectives and provide valuable insights for continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities Include
  • Plan and coordinate test phases to meet project timelines, scope, and quality outcomes.
  • Develop and execute test cases based on system requirements and specifications.
  • Drive the test automation strategy in conjunction with the Testing Practice team and identify test automation opportunities.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Utilize SQL/KQL to query databases and analyse data integrity.
  • Monitor and report on Test automation objectives and outcomes.
  • Continuously improve and maintain the automated test suite for maximum reliability and provide recommendations for improvements.
