Job summary

Great Southern Bank is seeking an experienced Senior Test Analyst based in Brisbane to lead testing strategies across customer-facing platforms and drive quality improvements. You will develop automated and manual test scenarios, collaborate with Technology and business stakeholders, and manage defect processes to ensure high-quality releases.

Job description

As our highly valued Senior Test Analyst based in Brisbane, you'll play a critical role in delivering high-quality digital experiences for our customers. You will help drive a culture of quality and continuous improvement by leading testing activities across key customer-facing platforms, ensuring the successful delivery of technology solutions that support our purpose of helping all Australians own their own home.

This is a 12 month fixed term contract.

You'll make an impact by:

• Developing and executing testing strategies that contribute to the successful delivery of customer technology initiatives.
• Creating and executing both manual and automated test scenarios aligned to business and customer outcomes.
• Partnering with stakeholders across Technology and the business to ensure quality is embedded throughout the delivery lifecycle.
• Managing defect processes, reporting and resolution activities to support high-quality releases.
• Supporting a range of customer-facing channels including online banking, mobile banking, lending applications, websites and digital services.
• Driving continuous improvement across testing frameworks, automation capabilities, tools and processes.
• Providing testing expertise during major incidents and business-critical issue resolution activities.

To succeed in this role, you'll bring:

• Extensive experience as an Automation Test Analyst, with a minimum of 5 years' automation testing experience.
• Strong experience with test automation tools including Selenium (Java).
• Experience using CI/CD tools such as Jenkins and version control tools including Git.
• Experience with BDD methodologies, including Cucumber, Gherkin and TestNG.
• Experience testing APIs and services using tools such as Bruno, SoapUI and Parasoft.
• Exposure to performance testing tools such as JMeter.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, relationship management and influencing skills.
• The ability to quickly understand complex business systems and drive testing outcomes across cross-functional teams.
• Qualifications in Information Technology or a related discipline.
