Job summary

NEC Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Team Lead to provide technical leadership, support and day-to-day management of the team in Australia. You will be the go-to person for fault-finding methodologies, customer management and problem resolution, rolling up your sleeves to engage directly on complex issues to drive resolution and keep customers satisfied.

Qualifications

2+ years' experience in a technical leadership role.
3+ years' experience in hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting within an enterprise environment.
Strong technical leadership and problem‑solving ability, with the confidence to mentor and guide technical staff.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate the business impact of problems and issues to all levels of management.

Responsibilities

Lead the relevant technical team, managing and escalating major incidents to the Technical Delivery Manager and/or Major Incident Management team (SRMs).
Support service owners in developing and maintaining service descriptions and project SOWs.
Identify and escalation opportunities for improvement to the Technical Delivery Manager.
Participate in process forums as required.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team on fault‑finding methodologies, customer management and problem resolution.
Manage day‑to‑day resourcing for direct reports, including performance and KPIs, leave, timesheet approval, overtime and on‑call rostering.
