Job summary

NEC Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Team Lead to provide technical leadership, support and day-to-day management of the team in Australia. You will be the go-to person for fault-finding methodologies, customer management and problem resolution, rolling up your sleeves to engage directly on complex issues to drive resolution and keep customers satisfied.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in a technical leadership role.
• 3+ years' experience in hardware diagnostics and troubleshooting within an enterprise environment.
• Strong technical leadership and problem‑solving ability, with the confidence to mentor and guide technical staff.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate the business impact of problems and issues to all levels of management.

Responsibilities

• Lead the relevant technical team, managing and escalating major incidents to the Technical Delivery Manager and/or Major Incident Management team (SRMs).
• Support service owners in developing and maintaining service descriptions and project SOWs.
• Identify and escalation opportunities for improvement to the Technical Delivery Manager.
• Participate in process forums as required.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to the team on fault‑finding methodologies, customer management and problem resolution.
• Manage day‑to‑day resourcing for direct reports, including performance and KPIs, leave, timesheet approval, overtime and on‑call rostering.
