ELMO Software Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical Leader for Performance to lead a three-engineer team. You will blend deep technical expertise with hands-on leadership to deliver secure, scalable software.

The role focuses on setting direction, mentoring engineers, and driving AI-enabled development practices while partnering with Product Owner to align technical delivery with business goals.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' experience in an Agile/Scrum environment.
• Proven team leadership experience in Agile/Scrum.
• Strong knowledge of web technologies (Node.js, React, AWS).
• Experience with scalable cloud applications (AWS).
• Ability to mentor teams on AI in software development.

Responsibilities

• Define and drive the team's technical roadmap and best practices.
• Own the team's output for security, reliability, and observability.
• Lead hiring and provide hands-on mentorship, code reviews and guidance.
• Champion practical AI-powered workflows to boost productivity and innovation.
• Partner with Product Owner to translate business needs into technical solutions.
