You will specialize in JavaScript/TypeScript, React and Node, API design, and securing web apps. You’ll influence AI tooling and collaborate with senior leaders to shape the product roadmap.

Technical Team Lead -Hybrid Melbourne CBD- $180,000 - 200,000 + Super + Bonus

An established enterprise software business backing a serious step up in its engineering capability, as part of a wider expansion. This is a Lead role with genuine weight behind it, real architecture ownership and a direct hand in shaping technical direction from day one. You'll be leading a small team which is well backed and building AI at the centre of how they work.

The role

• Lead a team of three, split roughly 70% architecture and leadership, 30% hands on, with real scope to shape how the team builds
• Sit at the centre of the AI tooling embedded across the engineering practice
• Melbourne based, hybrid, with flexibility on how the week is split
• Direct access to senior leadership and real input into where the technology goes next

The person

• JavaScript and TypeScript stack - React and Node -API design, and web app security knowledge
• Comfortable holding architecture ownership while staying hands on
• AI forward - good judgment when using AI tools to accelerate building
• Clear communicator who can lead and mentor technically
