Responsibilities

• Prepare Master BOQ estimates, full take-offs, and specification pricing.
• Price single-storey, double-storey, and townhouse designs.
• Manage pricing outcomes to support margin targets for base pricing and upgrades.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, quotations and product information.
• Review architectural plans and drawings to develop accurate estimates.
• Identify and resolve buildability and design issues to minimise errors.
• Create, implement and maintain QA checks across estimating processes.
• Prepare reports and maintain estimating workflow documentation.
• Work collaboratively with Production Estimating and other stakeholders.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other estimating activities.

Now were looking for a Technical Services Estimator to join our team and oversee numerous aspects within Estimating working closely with Sales, Operations and Construction.

About The Role

• Prepare Master BOQ estimates, full take-offs, and specification pricing for residential projects.
• Price single-storey, double-storey, and townhouse designs.
• Manage pricing outcomes to support margin targets for base house pricing and upgrade options.
• Liaise with suppliers to obtain pricing, quotations, and product information.
• Review architectural plans, engineering drawings, and soil reports to develop accurate estimates.
• Identify and resolve buildability and design-related issues to minimise errors and rework.
• Create, implement, and maintain quality assurance checks across estimating processes.
• Prepare reports and maintain estimating workflow documentation.
• Work collaboratively with the Production Estimating team and key stakeholders across the business.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and other estimating activities as required.

About You

• Proven experience in Technical Services Estimating within the residential building industry.
• Strong proficiency in Databuild, with experience using estimating and construction software such as TrueView, Bluebeam, ClickHome and Microsoft Excel highly regarded.
• Strong understanding of residential construction, estimating principles, and building documentation.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise competing deadlines and deliver accurate outcomes.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving capability.
