Komatsu Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical Service Representative to maximise equipment availability, reliability and productivity across our Mechanical Wheel Loader fleet. You\'ll work with Service Technicians, customers and factory representatives to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and contribute to future product enhancements.

Role located at Mackay / Customer Mine Site with a 5 days on 2 days off roster (38 hours per week).

Qualifications

• Relevant Heavy Equipment Trade or Engineering Qualification.
• Current Drivers License.
• High degree of mechanical and electrical aptitude.
• Broad knowledge/experience on Komatsu equipment.
• Working knowledge of local and mine-specific OH&S and legislation.
• Ability to analyse and troubleshoot hydraulic, mechanical and electrical problems.
• Ability to read hydraulic and electrical drawings.
• Understanding of maintenance targets including availability, reliability, parts management and component life cycle.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with internal teams and factory representatives to drive product improvements.

What we are looking for:

• Relevant Heavy Equipment Trade or Engineering Qualification

• An understanding of maintenance targets including availability, reliability, parts management and component life cycle management.
• Well-developed written and oral skills including use of Microsoft Office.
