Job summary

Komatsu Australia is seeking an experienced Service Supervisor to lead a 15-person team at the Mudgee branch, overseeing day-to-day service operations and driving safety, productivity and customer satisfaction. The role offers career development within a leading equipment manufacturer and a commitment to continual improvement in service delivery.

You will coach and develop technicians, manage WIP and utilisation, and strengthen customer relationships while upholding Komatsu's safety standards

Qualifications

• Experience leading teams in heavy equipment, construction, mining or similar industries.
• Strong coaching and development ability for high-performing teams.
• Proven ability to manage KPIs, WIP, productivity and utilisation.
• Customer-focused with excellent communication.
• Financial awareness including cost control and operational performance.
• Commitment to safety and continuous improvement.

We're now looking for an experienced Service Supervisor to lead that team, providing coaching, direction and operational leadership while continuing to build on its strong reputation.

Leading a team of approximately 15 technicians and support staff, you'll oversee the day-to-day service operation, driving safety, productivity, customer satisfaction and operational performance. From managing WIP and utilisation to developing your people and strengthening customer relationships, you'll play a key role in the continued success of the branch.

• Previous leadership experience within heavy equipment, construction, mining or a similar industry
• Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification
• Strong understanding of workshop or field service operations
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach and develop high-performing teams
• Experience managing KPIs, WIP, productivity and utilisation
• Customer-focused with excellent communication skills
• Financial awareness including cost control and operational performance
• Continuous improvement mindset with a strong commitment to safety and quality
