Job summary

Sika Australia is seeking motivated Technical Sales Representatives to join our growing team across Sydney, Queensland and Victoria. This role blends technical expertise with relationship-building to deliver innovative building materials solutions.

You will travel within your territory, provide technical product advice, prepare quotations, and collaborate with internal teams to ensure an exceptional customer experience. Applicants from New Zealand relocating to Australia are welcome.

Qualifications

• Experience in technical sales within construction, building materials, or related industries.
• Ability to identify and secure new business opportunities while maintaining existing relationships.
• Strong negotiation, presentation and communication skills to engage stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying and securing new business opportunities.
• Drive sales growth and achieve agreed sales targets across your territory.
• Provide technical product advice and recommend solutions tailored to customer requirements.
• Build relationships with key decision-makers, contractors, builders, specifiers and other industry stakeholders.
• Identify market trends, competitor activity and opportunities to expand Sika's market presence.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations and technical training sessions.
• Prepare quotations, negotiate commercial agreements and manage the sales pipeline.
• Collaborate with internal technical, marketing and customer service teams to deliver an exceptional customer experience.
• Maintain accurate customer records, sales forecasts and reporting.
