Job summary

Charterhouse is seeking aTechnical Project Manager with a strong telecommunications background to lead complex Mobile Core Network transformation, upgrade and migration projects. This hands-on role requires deep telecom infrastructure knowledge, not just governance, across Core Network Engineering, IP/Transport, Security, Operations and external vendors.

Qualifications

• 15+ years in telecommunications with PM experience.
• Proven delivery of Mobile Core, IMS or IP network transformations.
• Strong knowledge of Mobile IP Core and IP/MPLS transport.
• Experience with BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS, QoS, IPv4/IPv6.
• Experience in live-network migrations and core upgrades.
• Experience in Tier-1 operator environments.
• Exposure to multi-vendor environments (Ericsson, Nokia, Cisco).
• Familiar with Telco Cloud and data centre connectivity.
• Excellent stakeholder, vendor and commercial management.
• PMP/PRINCE2 or equivalent certification is highly regarded.

What We're Looking For

• Proven delivery of Mobile Core, IMS or IP network transformation projects.
• Strong understanding of Mobile IP Core architecture and IP/MPLS transport networks.
• Knowledge of BGP, OSPF/IS-IS, MPLS, QoS and IPv4/IPv6.
• Experience managing live-network migrations, core upgrades or network swaps.
• Experience working in Tier-1 telecommunications operator environments.
• Exposure to multi-vendor environments including Ericsson, Nokia and Cisco.
• Strong understanding of Telco Cloud, Data Centre connectivity and Core-to-RAN dependencies.
• Excellent stakeholder, vendor and commercial management skills.
• PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent certification highly regarded.
