Job summary

AUSDX PTY LTD in Sydney is seeking a Senior Mobile Core Project Manager to lead 4G/5G core network projects from ideation to completion. You will coordinate cross-functional teams, manage client relationships, and ensure on-time delivery in a fast-paced telecom environment.

Job description

Senior Mobile Core Project Manager-Packet Core 4G or 5G

This role will work in the Customer's Network Engineering group, which is responsible for the core of the Customer's Existing Network, including 4G/5G packet, data & voice core, messaging services, real-time services, cloud infrastructure. This role is responsible for planning, overseeing and leading projects from ideation through to completion. This role is a full-time senior project manager role and requires interaction with a range of internal and external stakeholders, most often managing several of the Customer's projects simultaneously.

Key responsibilities

• Focus on completing a project as efficiently and promptly as possible
• Manage several projects concurrently
• Lead project meetings, steering committee meetings and planning sessions
• Coordinate staff and internal resources
• Manage project progress and adapt work as required
• Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders
• Design and sign off on contracts
• Oversee all incoming and outgoing project documentation

About you

• Five or more years' experience preferably working in the telecommunication industry
• One or several formal qualifications in Engineering/IT or Management
• Background working in telecommunications core network (Ericsson Mobile Core and Nokia CS Core) preferred
• Written and verbal communication skills
• Capacity to manage high stress situations
• Ability to multi-task and manage various project elements simultaneously
• Technical understanding of telecommunications network
