Job summary

Cadence is seeking a highly organized project coordinator to support software and engineering programs in Adelaide, Australia. You will partner with technical leads and stakeholders to track progress, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery across multiple workstreams.

Applicants should have a degree in a relevant engineering or computer science field, 2–4 years of coordination experience, and familiarity with agile practices and common collaboration tools like GitHub and Jira.

Qualifications

• Degree in Electrical, Electronic, Computer Engineering, CS, or related technical discipline.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in program coordination or engineering operations.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with technical teams.
• Experience coordinating software or engineering projects using agile practices.
• Working knowledge of GitHub Issues/Projects/Actions or Jira.
• Basic scripting or automation capability (Python, Bash, or AI-assisted workflows).
• Structured, proactive, and detail-oriented with ability to follow up across multiple workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day project activity with project leads and track actions.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, and status updates in tools.
• Manage resource allocation, staffing plans, and forecast demand.
• Identify conflicts, gaps, and capacity risks early.
• Track sprint progress, milestones, and key deliverables.
• Prepare status reports on progress, risks, dependencies, blockers.
• Escalate risks with context and proposed actions.
• Support pipeline visibility between demand and capacity.
• Collaborate with technical leads on effort estimation.
• Explore AI tools to improve reporting and workflow automation.
