Job summary

Synechron is seeking a Technical Program Manager with strong Cards & Payments expertise to drive Visa scheme compliance releases and VCX initiatives.

You will lead cross-functional teams across technology, operations and vendors, manage governance, testing, deployment and regulatory changes to ensure timely, risk-aware delivery.

With a track record of large-scale programme delivery, you will enable smooth transition to business-as-usual and provide clear stakeholder updates.

• Drive testing, deployment, cutover and production readiness with minimal impact.
• Support readiness and transition to BAU through handover and knowledge transfer.
• Produce artefacts: plans, RAID logs, governance reports, roadmaps, deployment plans.

About Role:

Technical Program Manager with strong Cards & Payments expertise, proven delivery of Visa scheme compliance releases and VCX initiatives, experienced in leading cross-functional programmes covering clearing, settlement, message schema changes, testing, governance, deployment, and regulatory change implementation.

• Successfully deliver Visa scheme-mandated initiatives, including the Visa Clearing Exchange (VCX) migration and scheme release requirements, in accordance with agreed timelines, governance frameworks and implementation milestones.
• Lead cross-functional technology, operations, vendor and Visa teams to plan, coordinate and execute programme activities, ensuring delivery objectives, budget commitments, risks and dependencies are effectively managed throughout the programme lifecycle.
• Establish and maintain programme governance, stakeholder engagement and reporting practices that provide clear visibility of progress, risks, decisions and implementation readiness to client and Visa stakeholders.
• Drive successful testing, deployment, cutover and production readiness activities to ensure scheme-mandated changes are implemented with minimal customer, operational and service impact.
• Support operational readiness and transition to BAU through implementation handover, knowledge transfer and deployment support activities, enabling a smooth adoption of new processes and capabilities.
• Produce and maintain key delivery artefacts including programme plans, RAID registers, governance reports, implementation roadmaps, deployment plans and operational readiness assessments.
