Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Technical Product Owner to own the strategy for application and container security tools. You will guide security across the software lifecycle, ensuring secure design, delivery, and operations.

You will partner with engineering and risk/compliance and drive DevSecOps practices, automation, and toolchain optimization to deliver secure, resilient software quickly.

Qualifications

• Significant hands-on experience in application security and OWASP Top 10.
• Experience integrating security tooling into CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong knowledge of container security and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
• Background as a Product Owner or in a similar role with Agile backlog management.

Responsibilities

• Define the product vision and roadmap for application and container security tools.
• Lead secure coding practices and integrate security into developer workflows (DevSecOps).
• Manage the lifecycle of security tools from evaluation to operation and automate tests.
• Collaborate with development, operations, risk and compliance to meet regulatory requirements.
