Job summary

Bendigo Bank is seeking a Security Innovation, Engineering and COE Lead/Technical Product Owner to shape the bank's security technology landscape and drive next-generation security solutions.

You will lead a Security Centre of Excellence, embed secure-by-design across development, and mentor a team of security experts while managing vendor relationships and reporting to senior leadership.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in a senior security role (architecture, engineering and innovation).
• Experience contributing to or running a technical Centre of Excellence is desirable.
• Knowledge of cloud security (AWS/Azure/GCP), IAM, network security and data protection.

Responsibilities

• Shape the security technology roadmap and manage the innovation pipeline from concept to reality.
• Oversee lifecycle of core enterprise security platforms with secure-by-design practices.
• Lead the Security Center of Excellence and build shared security services for the organisation.
• Mentor security experts, manage vendor/partner relationships, and report to senior leadership on security posture.
