Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Technical Operations Supervisor to lead the Farleigh Laboratory team, ensuring delivery of high-quality technical services across concrete and aggregate testing while maintaining lab operations and quality systems.

You will oversee equipment calibration, testing program coordination, and results analysis using QESTLab and SAP, fostering a strong safety and quality culture within a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 5 years of experience in construction materials testing.
• Experience in concrete and aggregate testing.
• Understanding of NATA accreditation requirements and laboratory quality systems.
• Qualifications in Construction Materials Testing, leadership experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the laboratory, including equipment, maintenance and quality systems.
• Coordinate concrete and aggregate testing programs to meet Australian Standards and testing requirements.

Technical Operations Supervisor

Heidelberg Materials is looking for a Technical Operations Supervisor to lead our Farleigh Laboratory team. Reporting to the Technical Operations Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the delivery of high-quality technical services across concrete and aggregate testing, while maintaining laboratory operations, quality systems and compliance requirements.

About the Role:

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the laboratory, including equipment, maintenance and quality systems.
• Coordinate concrete and aggregate testing programs to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and testing requirements.
• Oversee equipment calibration, servicing and certification schedules.
• Analyse and validate test results using QESTLab, SAP and associated systems.
• Supporting laboratory staff while promoting a strong safety and quality culture.

About You:

• Approximately 5 years of experience in construction materials testing.
• Demonstrated experience in concrete and aggregate testing.
• Sound understanding of NATA accreditation requirements and laboratory quality systems.
• Qualifications in Construction Materials Testing.
• Proven ability to lead, train and coordinate team members.
