Job summary

Heidelberg Materials Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Technical Operations Supervisor to lead the Farleigh Laboratory team in QLD. You will ensure high-quality concrete and aggregate testing, maintain lab operations and uphold quality systems and compliance.

You will manage daily lab operations, coordinate testing programs, calibrate and service equipment, and validate results using QESTLab and SAP, while fostering safety and quality culture across the team.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience in construction materials testing.
• Experience in concrete and aggregate testing.
• Understanding of NATA accreditation requirements and laboratory quality systems.
• Qualifications in Construction Materials Testing.
• Proven ability to lead, train and coordinate team members.

Responsibilities

• Lead the day-to-day operation of the laboratory, including equipment, maintenance and quality systems.
• Coordinate concrete and aggregate testing programs to ensure compliance with Australian Standards and testing requirements.
• Oversee equipment calibration, servicing and certification schedules.
• Analyse and validate test results using QESTLab, SAP and associated systems.
• Support laboratory staff while promoting a strong safety and quality culture.
