Job summary

Heidelberg Materials is seeking a Technical Operations Supervisor to lead the Farleigh Laboratory team, overseeing concrete and aggregate testing and ensuring quality systems and compliance.

You will manage day-to-day lab operations, calibration and testing schedules, and analysis of results using QESTLab and SAP, while developing staff and promoting safety and quality culture.

Around 5 years of construction materials testing experience and NATA accreditation knowledge are required.

Qualifications

• Approximately 5 years of experience in construction materials testing.
• Proven experience in concrete and aggregate testing.
• Knowledge of NATA accreditation requirements and laboratory quality systems.
• Qualifications in Construction Materials Testing.
• Ability to lead, train and coordinate laboratory team.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the laboratory, including equipment maintenance and quality systems.
• Coordinate concrete and aggregate testing programs to ensure compliance with standards.
• Oversee calibration, servicing and certification schedules for equipment.
• Analyze and validate test results using QESTLab, SAP and related systems.
• Support laboratory staff while promoting safety and quality culture.
