Job summary

HuizingHarvest Australia is seeking a seasoned agricultural machinery professional to lead the technical side of our operation. You will guide workshop and field teams, resolve complex technical issues, and ensure project delivery is safe and efficient.

You will also travel to manufacturers, importers and dealers to understand challenges and provide practical technical solutions, driving growth for our business across Australia.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in the agricultural machinery industry.
• Strong technical background in agricultural machinery.
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring technicians.
• Commercial awareness and interest in developing new business.
• Good organisational and computer skills.
• Current Australian driver's licence.
• Willingness to travel throughout Australia.

About HuizingHarvest Australia

HuizingHarvest Australia provides specialised technical services to agricultural machinery manufacturers, importers and dealers across Australia.

From our facility in New Gisborne and through our field teams we support our customers with project-based solutions.

The Role

In this broad leadership role you will take a leading role in the day-to-day technical side of the business, supporting our workshop and field technicians, solve technical issues and ensuring projects are delivered safely. When required, you should be comfortable stepping into the workshop or field and working alongside the team to solve a problem.

Just as importantly, you will spend time with our customers. You will visit manufacturers, importers and dealers to understand their challenges by providing technical solutions.

About You

We are looking for an experienced agricultural machinery professional who combines strong technical knowledge with leadership skills, customer focus and commercial awareness.

Ideally, you have:

• At least 5 years' experience within the agricultural machinery industry
• A strong technical background in agricultural machinery
• Experience leading, supervising or mentoring technicians
• Commercial awareness and an interest in developing new business
• Good organisational and computer skills
• A current Australian driver's licence
• Willingness to travel throughout Australia when required

We are not looking for a traditional salesperson or skilled mechanic. We are looking for someone who can develop opportunities for our Australian business.
