Job summary

Canberra Theatre Centre in Canberra is seeking a highly organised Technical Operations Manager to lead workforce planning and rostering, coordinate productions and manage technical operations to ensure successful events.

Reporting to the Technical Director, you will align labour resources, safety compliance, budgeting and operational systems across the technical department, supporting artists, hirers and audiences.

Qualifications

• Experience leading workforce planning and rostering for complex operations.
• Strong coordination skills across production teams and technical departments.
• Knowledge of WHS compliance and budgeting within a performing arts environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead workforce planning, labour utilisation, and rostering to support productions and events.
• Coordinate production activities with Technical Director, Production Managers and Heads of Department.
• Oversee operational systems, training coordination and continuous improvement within the Technical Department.
