Job summary

Humanised Group in Brisbane is seeking a Technical Lead – Integrations to own the integration architecture underpinning a major workforce management transformation. You will lead hands-on design, build and delivery across SAP SuccessFactors, Azure Fabric and legacy systems, while mentoring a small team of integration engineers and developers.

Qualifications

• Minimum 15 years' experience in enterprise IT.
• Hands-on leadership of integration teams delivering large-scale solutions.
• Strong SAP experience with exposure to SAP SuccessFactors.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Fabric, and modern integration patterns.
• API design and security expertise.
• Experience with Datahub or equivalent enterprise data platforms.
• Ability to mentor a small technical team while staying hands-on.
• Strong stakeholder management, capable of influencing executives and delivery teams.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Availability to commence at the requested start date.

Responsibilities

• Lead the hands-on design, build and delivery of integration solutions across legacy platforms, downstream systems, SAP SuccessFactors and Microsoft Azure Fabric
• Directly lead, mentor and manage a small team of Integration Engineers/Developers — allocating work, reviewing designs and code, and maintaining high delivery standards
• Own the end-to-end integration architecture and roadmap, collaborating with Data and SAP Architects
• Oversee integration build, testing and deployment activities, including API design, build and security practices across all touchpoints
• Lead platform modernisation initiatives, including transition and decommissioning of legacy integration patterns
• Design and implement integrations leveraging Azure Fabric, Datahub and related data platform capabilities
• Establish and maintain integration standards, technical documentation and governance artefacts
• Support the Data team with data integration, data flow design and data quality considerations
• Identify and mitigate technical and delivery risks, escalating as needed
• Act as primary technical contact for integration with SAP SuccessFactors partners, legacy system owners and downstream consumers
• Support SIT, UAT, cutover planning and production readiness from an integration perspective
• Provide regular status, risk and issue reporting to Program governance forums

About the Opportunity

Our client's workforce management transformation program is one of the region's most significant digital transformation initiatives - replacing a legacy payroll and HR platform that currently supports a substantial portion of the public sector workforce. Using SAP SuccessFactors and Class Cover, the Program will consolidate more than 24 existing systems into a modern, integrated, people-centred solution that transforms workforce management, recruitment, onboarding and relief staffing processes across the organisation.

We're looking for a Technical Lead – Integrations to take hands-on ownership of the integration architecture underpinning this Program - spanning legacy platforms, downstream systems, Microsoft Azure Fabric and SAP SuccessFactors.

This is not a purely strategic role. You'll lead and mentor a small team of Integration Engineers and Developers while staying directly involved in solution design, build and technical problem-solving — reporting to the Senior Technical Program Manager and working closely with the Data Architect, SAP Architect and the broader Data team.

What You'll Do

What You'll Bring

• Minimum 15 years' experience in enterprise IT, including significant experience in advisory and technical leadership roles
• Proven hands‑on experience leading integration teams and delivering complex, large‑scale integration solutions across legacy and modern platforms
• Strong working knowledge of SAP, with exposure to SAP SuccessFactors highly regarded
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Azure, including Azure Fabric, and modern cloud‑based integration patterns
• Strong technical expertise in API design, build and security practices
• Experience with platform modernisation initiatives, including legacy system transition and decommissioning
• Experience working with Datahub or equivalent enterprise data platforms
• Demonstrated ability to manage and mentor a small technical team while remaining hands‑on in solution design and delivery
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior executives, vendors and technical delivery teams
