Job summary

Brickworks Building Products is seeking an experienced Technical Engineer in Horsley Park, NSW, to provide expert engineering and technical support across the business, ensuring products meet quality, regulatory and customer requirements.

You will lead product development, compliance, quality assurance and continuous improvement initiatives, collaborating with international manufacturing partners and internal teams to deliver compliant, innovative solutions for the Australian and New Zealand

Qualifications

• Experience in a technical engineering role within building products, construction materials or manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of product development, QA, testing, compliance and continuous improvement processes.
• Understanding NCC, Australian Standards and construction practices.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and communicate complex technical information.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical delivery of new product introductions with engineering assessments and compliance.
• Manage product certification, approvals and regulatory compliance activities.
• Provide technical leadership and engineering advice to internal and external stakeholders.
• Investigate complex product quality and performance issues and drive corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain technical standards, specifications, procedures and documentation.
