Job summary

Sabrands Australia is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to lead the technical function across food, beverage and household cleaning products. You will set strategic direction, manage risk, and partner with major customers and contract manufacturers from our South Melbourne base.

The role reports to the Head of Supply Chain and collaborates with the Food Safety, Quality & Compliance Manager to maintain certifications and compliance while guiding product recalls and regulatory matters.

Qualifications

• Five or more years in FMCG or food manufacturing with technical/quality focus.
• Experience leading a technical or quality function for at least 3 years.
• Strong knowledge of FSANZ requirements, labeling, allergens and product claims.

Responsibilities

• Set technical and quality strategy across the product portfolio.
• Accountable for product safety, quality, compliance and technical risk.
• Lead major retail, hardware, food service and export engagements with customers.
