Job summary

Synechron is hiring a Tech Data Business Analyst for Melbourne on a hybrid schedule (3 days in the office). The six-month contract is extendable and requires full Australian working rights.

The successful candidate will dive into data, interrogate APIs, validate mappings and transformations, and work with engineers to resolve reconciliation issues. The role emphasizes strong SQL, data analysis, REST API skills, data modelling and end-to-end validation across SIT/UAT.

Qualifications

• SQL and data analysis experience is required.
• Experience with REST APIs, JSON and Postman.
• Proficiency in source-to-target data mapping.
• Data quality, reconciliation and validation expertise.
• Data modelling, lineage and transformation mapping.
• Experience across SIT, UAT and end-to-end data validation.
• Ability to work across business requirements, APIs, source/target data and engineering teams.

Responsibilities
