Noumi, a leader in plant-based and dairy beverages, seeks a technically strong leader to drive standards, food safety and continuous improvement across multiple manufacturing sites. You will influence stakeholders and guide improvements in product quality and process efficiency.

The role collaborates with Quality, Operations, Engineering, R&D and NPD, reporting to the Head of Technical. Location flexibility across Ingleburn or Shepparton sites.

Formación

• Leadership experience across technical, food safety, quality or CI functions.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety risk management, validation and verification.
• Proven ability to lead root-cause analysis and CI projects through to implementation.
• Experience collaborating with Operations, Quality, Engineering, R&D and other functions.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development and consistent application of technical and food safety standards across manufacturing sites.
• Strengthen food safety culture, HACCP programs and risk management practices.
• Provide technical expertise in investigating and resolving complex product, process and microbiological issues.

• Drive CI initiatives to reduce defects, complaints, rework, waste and losses.
• Support risk assessments, validation and verification for new products and changes.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve capability and performance.
• Identify opportunities to standardise processes and share best practices across sites.

The Opportunity
Reporting to the Head of Technical, this role provides Group-wide leadership across technical standards, food safety and continuous improvement, supporting our manufacturing operations.
Working closely with Quality, Operations, Engineering, R&D and NPD, you'll provide specialist technical expertise, strengthen food safety practices and lead initiatives that improve product quality, process performance and operational efficiency.

• Provide technical expertise in investigating and resolving complex product, process and microbiological issues.
• Lead root-cause investigations and implement sustainable corrective and preventative actions.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on reducing product defects, complaints, rework, waste and quality-related losses.
• Support technical risk assessments, validation and verification activities for new products, process changes and capital projects.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to improve manufacturing capability, product quality and operational performance.
• Identify opportunities to standardise processes and share best practices across sites.

What you’ll bringWe’re looking for a collaborative and technically strong leader who enjoys working across teams, challenging existing processes and delivering practical, sustainable improvements.

• A tertiary qualification in Food Science, Food Technology, Dairy Science, Microbiology, Engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience within food manufacturing, dairy, beverage or FMCG.
• Demonstrated leadership experience across technical, food safety, quality or continuous improvement functions.
• Strong knowledge of HACCP, food safety risk management, validation and verification.
• Experience investigating complex product, process and microbiological issues.
• Proven ability to lead root-cause analysis and continuous improvement projects through to implementation.
• Experience working collaboratively with Operations, Quality, Engineering, R&D and other business functions.
• Strong stakeholder engagement, analytical and problem-solving skills.
