Job summary

Noumi is seeking a proactive Reliability Leader to drive reliability, maintenance and continuous improvement of site services, buildings and grounds. You’ll lead a skilled team, improving plant reliability and delivering key projects that support production targets with a strong safety culture.

Reporting to Maintenance Manager, you will develop teams, manage critical services, and ensure compliant operations across our dairy and food manufacturing site in Victoria.

Qualifications

• Engineering or Trade Qualified with proven experience in food manufacturing, ideally within dairy, nutritional, process plant, or site services environments.
• Strong maintenance and reliability expertise across asset care, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership to coach, mentor and develop high‑performing teams with a strong safety culture.

Responsibilities

• Lead Asset Care & Reliability by driving preventative maintenance programs, reducing downtime, and improving equipment performance.
• Manage Critical Site Services including boilers, water systems, HVAC, compressed air, wastewater treatment, fire systems, security systems, and site infrastructure.
• Develop and Lead Teams through coaching, mentoring, technical training, and strong safety leadership.
• Drive Continuous Improvement using root cause analysis, reliability programs, and Operational Excellence principles.
• Deliver Projects from planning through to execution, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
• Ensure Compliance & Safety by maintaining legislative requirements, contractor management processes, and site safety and quality standards.

The Opportunity

What You’ll Bring

• Strong maintenance and reliability expertise, including CMMS management, asset care programs, preventative maintenance, and continuous improvement practices.


• Demonstrated leadership experience, with the ability to coach, mentor, and develop high-performing teams while fostering a strong safety culture.


• Project management and problem-solving capability, with experience delivering improvement initiatives, driving root cause analysis, and managing competing priorities.


• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence outcomes across the business.
