Job summary

Collaborate Recruitment is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a major technology transformation involving ERP and large-scale business systems in Sydney's North Rocks area. You will work across business and technology teams to map current-state processes and identify opportunities for uplift.

The role requires strong business analysis and technology experience, with exposure to AI-assisted software development and solution design, including tools such as Claude.

Our client is seeking an experienced Technical Business Analyst to support a significant technology transformation involving ERP and large-scale business systems.

You will work across business and technology teams to understand current-state systems, identify opportunities for enhancement and uplift, and support the delivery of system replatforming, modernisation and transformation initiatives.

The role will suit someone who combines strong business analysis and technology experience with exposure to AI-assisted software development and solution design, including tools such as Claude / Claude Code.

The ideal candidate will have experience working within wholesale, retail or manufacturing environments, particularly where ERP and core business systems support sales, order management, inventory, pricing, supply chain or commercial operations.

Key Skills Required:

• Experience as a Business Analyst, Technical Business Analyst or Business Systems Analyst in a technology transformation environment.


• A substantial background working within software development and a deep understanding of development practices are essential.


• Strong requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis and stakeholder management skills.


• Experience in facilitating workshops


• Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements and technical solutions.


• Understanding of AI-assisted coding, solution design, requirements analysis or software development workflows.


• Ability to bridge the gap between business requirements, technology and solution design.


• Strong understanding of ERP systems and enterprise business applications.


• Experience within wholesale, retail, manufacturing or distribution environments.


• Experience working in a sales/commercial environment, with exposure to areas such as order-to-cash, sales orders, pricing, inventory, product management or supply chain.


• Experience working within complex, multi-system environments.


• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
