Downer is seeking a Technical Authority to join the Commercial & Risk team in Australia. You will lead governance, assurance and technical compliance to protect the licence to operate across the Social Infrastructure & Citizen Services portfolio.

You will establish standards, licensing, and competency requirements, providing assurance that work is delivered safely, compliantly and by qualified personnel while collaborating with senior leaders to strengthen capability and manage risk.

Qualifikationen

• 15+ years' experience in facilities management, infrastructure, property or related industry.
• Expertise in licensing, permitting, technical compliance and regulatory governance.
• Strong leadership in complex, multi-disciplinary environments.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and influence with senior leaders.
• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Engineering or related discipline, or equivalent experience.

• Provide independent oversight of technical governance, compliance and assurance across a complex national portfolio.
• Establish and maintain licensing frameworks and competency requirements that underpin safe, compliant service delivery.
• Identify, assess and manage technical and regulatory risks across jurisdictions.
• Lead capability development, continuous improvement and technical excellence across the organisation.
• Lead governance frameworks, oversee licensing and regulatory obligations, and support change across multiple jurisdictions.
