Job summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a Technical Account Manager (TAM) for Data Centre Thermal Solutions. You will serve as the primary technical interface, leading design, pricing, and bid strategies for chilled water plants and liquid cooling across the Pacific region, while aligning with strategic account growth.

You will influence design at early stages, drive value engineering, and collaborate with SAMs to win complex opportunities in data centres, healthcare, and high-density environments.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering (preferred) or related discipline.
• 10+ years’ experience in HVAC/chiller systems and thermal plant solutions, ideally within data centres.
• Experience in technical sales, bid management, and pricing of complex engineered solutions.
• Strong expertise in developing competitive, technically sound, and commercially viable bids.

Responsibilities

• Act as trusted technical advisor for data center cooling and thermal plant solutions.
• Lead the design of chilled water systems and central plant architectures.
• Own the technical pricing strategy for thermal solutions and drive bid development.
• Coordinate end-to-end bid development across engineering, procurement, and commercial teams.
• Develop accurate cost models and support negotiations with technical justification.
