Job summary

Chandler Macleod is seeking an experienced Project Analyst to assist delivery of technology and business transformation projects within a Federal Government environment. The role focuses on reporting, governance, program controls, and stakeholder coordination across business and technical teams.

The ideal candidate will enjoy analysing information, identifying trends, and maintaining project documentation while ensuring milestones and dependencies are tracked and communicated effectively.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting technology, digital, ICT, or business transformation projects within large and complex organisations.
• Experience in PMO, Project Analyst, Project Officer, Project Coordinator, Project Controls, Scheduler, or similar roles.
• Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
• Experience supporting project reporting, governance, and delivery activities.
• Ability to identify trends, risks, issues, and dependencies and communicate them effectively to stakeholders.
• Experience maintaining project plans, status reports, action registers, risk registers, and issue logs.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
• Proactive mindset with the confidence to raise concerns and elevate issues where required.
• Experience using Jira, Confluence, Excel, Power BI, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning, coordination, and delivery of technology and business transformation projects.
• Maintain project plans, schedules, action registers, risk and issue logs, and project documentation.
• Monitor project milestones, deliverables, and dependencies, following up with stakeholders as required.
• Support governance activities, including meeting papers, agendas, minutes, and project reporting.
• Gather, analyse, and consolidate project information to support reporting and decision-making.
• Coordinate communication and engagement across business and technical teams.
• Identify, monitor, and elevate project risks, issues, and dependencies where required.
• Prepare high-quality reports, presentations, briefs, and correspondence.
• Maintain accurate project records and documentation.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives, processes, and ways of working.
