Job summary

Suncorp Group is seeking a Technology Procurement and Vendor Management Leader to drive commercial outcomes across cloud, SaaS and infrastructure services. You’ll manage complex technology suppliers, contracts and sourcing in a hyperscale environment, collaborating with technical stakeholders and taking ownership from day one.

The role offers autonomous work in a collaborative, supportive team with hybrid working (50% WFH) and opportunities for development toward senior positions over time.

Qualifications

• At least five years’ experience in technology procurement or vendor management.
• Proven experience procuring SaaS solutions and managing large software contracts.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing, cloud services and IT infrastructure.
• Experience working with major technology providers like Microsoft, IBM, Oracle or ServiceNow.
• Ability to translate complex requirements into clear commercial decisions.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic technology vendors, contracts and service levels.
• Develop category plans, sourcing strategies and negotiation approaches for software, cloud and infra services.
• Lead SaaS renewals and tenders balancing value, requirements and risk.
• Facilitate supplier governance reviews with technical stakeholders and senior leaders.
• Interpret contract terms and resolve escalated disputes or governance issues.
• Build relationships across Technology, Procurement, Legal and risk teams.
