ROLLER in Sydney is seeking a hands-on Tech Lead to line-manage a team of engineers while continuing to ship code. You’ll set technical direction and participate in delivery most days.

The role focuses on backend in C# / .NET, AWS, and Angular frontend, with scale-driven challenges across memberships, payments, and loyalty. You’ll mentor staff, help interview, and drive performance. The position reports to the Engineering Manager in a hybrid Sydney setup.

Formación

• Six-plus years in software engineering, including time as a tech lead or senior on a squad.
• Deep backend experience in C# and.NET with full-stack capability.
• Experience leading production incidents and post-mortems.
• Mentoring engineers and contributing to hiring and career growth.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the team with regular 1:1s, performance reviews and career growth.
• Build backend services and APIs, and contribute to Angular frontend where needed.
• Partner with product managers and designers from discovery through release.
• Own production monitoring and collaborate with SRE to prevent issues.
