Job summary

ROLLER is seeking a Tech Lead to mentor and shape a high-performance engineering squad in Sydney. You’ll stay 70–80% hands-on, steer technical direction, and ship features across backend services and Angular interfaces used by thousands of guests daily.

You’ll collaborate with product and design, drive responsible engineering practices, and help scale a global platform leveraging AWS services. You’ll also mentor engineers and participate in hiring to grow the team.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of software engineering, with leadership as tech lead or senior
• Strong C# and .NET backend plus frontend familiarity with Angular
• Experience in production incidents and post-mortems

Responsibilities

• Lead a team with 1:1s, performance reviews, and hiring
• Build backend services and Angular interfaces
• Partner with product and design from discovery to release
• Own production monitoring and issue identification with SRE
