Job summary

UniSuper in Melbourne seeks an Acurity Tech Lead to shape solution approaches and govern technical quality across the Acurity platform and integrations. You will influence complex technical decisions with deep expertise, balancing business needs, risk, and long-term platform sustainability.

You will mentor teams, set engineering standards, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver secure, resilient systems aligned with UniSuper's strategy and goals.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience developing solutions using Acurity Architect.
• Advanced solution design and architecture skills.
• Strong SQL and database design capability.
• Experience with technical governance, engineering standards and Agile delivery.
• Strong understanding of application security, risk and operational resilience.
• Experience mentoring and developing technical capability across software delivery teams.

Responsibilities

• Shape complex technical solutions aligned with platform strategy, architectural principles and engineering standards
• Govern technical delivery from design through implementation and production support
• Set standards for development practices, engineering processes and code quality
• Define solution approaches that address security, performance, resilience and supportability
• Advise on complex production incidents, root cause analysis and permanent corrective actions
• Influence technical capability through mentoring, collaboration and knowledge sharing
