Oolio | Bepoz is a leading technology and payments provider for hospitality across Australia. We seek an Implementation Specialist to build venue databases, configure menus and pricing, and stand beside venues on launch night to ensure a smooth go-live.
You will join a national team, coordinate with field technicians and support staff, and manage multiple deployments from discovery to handover. A background in hospitality tech and POS integrations is valued.
Oolio | Bepoz is a leading provider of innovative technology and payments solutions for the hospitality industry across Australia, England and the U.S.A. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction, we have established a reputation for delivering solutions and services that help our clients achieve their goals. From small independent restaurants to large multi-site groups, we help venues run their operations through purpose-built POS platforms. Our Implementation team is the bridge between a signed contract and a venue that's up, running, and confident with their new system. This role is less about plugging in hardware and more about making a complex system work the way a venue actually needs it to. You will take new Bepoz customers from nothing to go live: building their database from scratch, configuring menus and pricing, setting up integrations, and standing next to the team on launch night to make sure everything works. Implementations are where the product promise gets tested. Customers have just committed to a new system and they're counting on you to make it work. When you get it right, venues notice immediately and relationships are formed.
You will join a national team of implementation specialists and work closely with field technicians, support staff, and BDMs. The role has real variety: no two venues configure the same way, and the problems you solve on one job rarely look exactly like the last one.
Build venue databases from the ground up: products, pricing, modifiers, operators, and table layouts.
Configure complex menu structures, condiment trees, promotions, and reporting groups.
Set up integrations with third-party systems including EFTPOS, reservations platforms, and loyalty programs.
Work from discovery information to produce configurations that reflect how .a venue
actually operates, not just what fits the template.
Be on-site for launch, own the go-live, and handle issues in the moment.
Validate the build against the venue's real-world trading conditions before the doors open.
Provide post-go-live hypercare until the venue is stable and self-sufficient.
Train venue staff and managers on day-to-day system use, reporting, and basic administration.
Adapt your delivery to the room. A head chef and a CFO need different explanations of the same feature.
Produce clear handover documentation so the venue isn't dependent on you once you've left.
Manage your own project workload across multiple concurrent implementations.
Communicate proactively with customers throughout the project, especially when timelines shift.
Work closely with the sales team, field technicians, and support to make sure nothing falls through the cracks at handover.
Hands-on experience implementing or configuring POS systems, ideally Bepoz or Oolio (though other enterprise platforms are worth a conversation).
An interest in what's happening behind the scenes of POS and payments tech.
Experience building and configuring complex menu or product databases.
Strong communication skills across all levels of a venue, from bar staff to ownership.
The ability to manage multiple projects at once without things slipping.
A background working in hospitality, whether front of house, back of house, or venue management. You'll understand the pressure of a venue in a way that's hard to teach.
Experience with integrations: EFTPOS providers, reservations, loyalty, or kitchen display systems.
Exposure to multi-site or group-level rollouts.
A degree in Information Technology or a related qualification would be highly regarded.
Work with a strong State led team.
The opportunity to develop your skills and earn a base salary plus lucrative commissions. You will also receive a laptop, phone and a car allowance.
An inclusive and supportive culture.
Great career growth opportunities across Australia and internationally.
