XPT Software Australia seeks an experienced Technical Business Analyst specializing in telecom and network technologies to gather requirements, analyse network processes, and support end-to-end delivery.

You will work with telecom, network engineering, infrastructure, and IT teams, produce BRD/FRD, user stories and process flows, and facilitate UAT and implementation through coordinated workshops and documentation.

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Technical Business Analyst with a strong background in telecommunications and network technologies. The candidate should be able to gather business and technical requirements, analyse network-related processes, coordinate with technical teams, and support end-to-end project delivery.

Key Responsibilities

• Gather, analyse, and document business and technical requirements.
• Work closely with telecom, network engineering, infrastructure, and IT teams.
• Analyse network architecture, connectivity, and telecommunications systems.
• Prepare Business Requirements Documents (BRD), Functional Requirements Documents (FRD), user stories, and process flows.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Conduct stakeholder workshops and requirement-gathering sessions.
• Support network transformation, telecom infrastructure, and connectivity projects.

Mandatory Skills

• Strong experience as a Technical Business Analyst.
• Telecom or networking domain experience.
• Knowledge of network technologies such as LAN, WAN, TCP/IP, routing, and switching.
• Understanding of network infrastructure, connectivity, and telecommunications services.
• Requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder management.
• Experience with BRD, FRD, user stories, process mapping, and UAT.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Good to Have

• Experience with Cisco networking technologies.
• Knowledge of SD-WAN, MPLS, VPN, VoIP, and network security.
• Exposure to telecom service providers and network transformation projects.
• Experience with Agile, Scrum, Jira, and Confluence.
• Relevant networking certifications such as CCNA.

Candidate Profile
