Job summary

Waverley Council is seeking fit, reliable and motivated Team Members to join the Resource Recovery team, providing waste collection services to residential and commercial customers. You will perform early-morning collections and report any issues promptly.

We offer a permanent full-time role with 38 hours per week, starts at 4:30 am or 5:00 am, and a salary of $58,296.13–$66,995.47 plus 12% superannuation and allowances.

Qualifications

• NSW School Certificate or equivalent.
• A current Class C driver’s licence (valid).
• Good communication, teamwork and customer service skills.
• Flexibility to work outside normal hours, public holidays and rostered overtime.
• Commitment to safety, risk management and environmental protection.

• Report damaged or contaminated bins
• Work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Maintain safe, clean work areas and follow Council procedures
• Work as part of a team to deliver quality services

About you

You will have:
