Job summary

Sutherland Shire Council's Recycling & Waste team is seeking a Rear Loader Driver to join a dedicated, safety-focused crew. You will operate waste collection vehicles across the Sutherland Shire, perform daily safety inspections and deliver excellent customer service to residents and businesses.

We offer a 9-day fortnight, permanent full-time employment, and a base salary of $81,044 plus 12% super, along with training, licence renewals and opportunities for career development.

The Role:

As a Rear Loader Driver, you'll:

About You:

You will:

• Be comfortable working outdoors in a physically demanding role

Waste industry experience is highly regarded, but not essential. If you've got waste experience, we'll value it.

• Package: $81,044 gross p.a. plus 12% superannuation.
• Plus applicable driving allowances for designated drivers, paid in accordance with the Waste Enterprise Agreement.
• Hours of work: Permanent Full Time: Working 38 hours per week working on a 9-day fortnight. Applicants must be available to work a range of shifts from 4.00am Monday to Friday.
