Job summary

Zambrero is seeking Team Leaders to join our Ulladulla restaurant. In this role, you’ll oversee day-to-day operations, lead a friendly team, and ensure fast, fresh, healthy Mexican food is served with a smile.

You’ll be a role model for the Zambrero values, help train new team members, and contribute to a positive guest experience. Flexible hours help you balance work, study, and play while contributing to our Plate 4 Plate initiative and community goals.

Responsibilities

• Lead the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations.

• Assist with hiring and onboarding new team members.
• Manage staff performance and rostering to ensure smooth service.
• Ensure food is prepared, presented, and served to high standards.
• Assist with stock orders from suppliers and office duties as needed.
• Oversee daily cleaning of production areas and dining spaces.
• Support marketing promotions and event initiatives.
• Uphold Workplace Health and Safety standards and train staff accordingly.

What you’ll do

Our Team Leaders take pride in preparing and serving fast, fresh, and healthy Mexican food with a smile. As a Shift Supervisor, you will be responsible for the effective and efficient running of the day-to-day operations in the restaurant.

• Leading the restaurant team in efficient day-to-day operations
• Being a role model for the standards and behaviours consistent with the Zambrero values and culture
• Assisting in training, developing, and driving the team to deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
• Assisting with hiring new team members and onboarding them
  
• Assisting in managing the team, including staff performance reviews, and rostering staff
  
• Ensuring food is prepared, presented, and served to the highest standard
  
• Assisting with ordering of stock from various suppliers
  
• Assisting with office administration duties such as paperwork, banking, cash handling, payroll and reviewing policies
  
• Managing daily and weekly cleaning of the production areas, dining room and general restaurant
  
• Assisting with executing marketing promotions
  
• Ensuring safety and security standards are recognised and upheld, and that employees are effectively trained in Workplace Health and Safety
