Job summary

Greenworx is seeking a Trade Assistant – Landscape Maintenance Labourer to join our busy crews in Sydney. The role is full-time, 06:00am–14:00pm, with responsibilities including mowing, edging, weeding, and other grounds tasks.

The ideal candidate will have 6 months+ landscaping experience, a valid Australian Driver's License, a White Card, and be willing to obtain a Working With Children Check and a National Police Certificate if required.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ experience in landscaping (commercial / residential).
• Valid Australian Driver's License.
• Construction Induction Card (White Card).
• Working With Children Check or willingness to obtain.
• National Police Certificate or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Carry out routine grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks including mowing, blowing, brush cutting, weeding, hedging, edging and litter-picking.
• Follow Work Health and Safety (WHS) guidelines and Greenworx WHS systems.
• Maintain a clean and safe workspace at sites, vehicles, and facilities.

About the Role
As a Trade Assistant Landscape Labourer, you'll be working in a team to complete daily landscape maintenance tasks safely and efficiently. This is a great opportunity for someone with landscaping / gardening or trade support experience who enjoys hands-on outdoor work in a team environment.

This is a full-time role, Monday to Friday (part-time negotiable for the right candidate), 06:00am - 14:00pm.

Responsibilities include:

Carry out routine grounds maintenance and landscaping tasks including mowing, blowing, brush cutting, weeding, hedging, edging and litter-picking etc.

Carry out work in accordance with Work Health Safety (WHS) legislation and Greenworx WHS Management System

Maintain a clean and safe workspace (Greenworx facilities, vehicles and sites)

About You
We're looking for someone who is:

• Reliable, hands-on and practical

• Able to follow instructions and work well in a team

• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors in all conditions

• Willing to roll up their sleeves and assist with a range of site-based tasks

You will need:

• 6 months+ experience in landscaping (commercial / residential)

• A valid Australian Driver's License

• Construction Induction Card (White Card)

• Working With Children Check (or willingness to obtain)

• A current National Police Certificate (or willingness to obtain)
