Lives Lived Well is seeking a Team Leader to guide headspace Upper Coomera, leading a multidisciplinary clinical team and delivering evidence-based youth mental health care. You will oversee daily operations, drive continuous improvement, and build partnerships with local services to improve outcomes for young people and their families on the Gold Coast.

Qualifications

• Experience leading multi-disciplinary clinical teams.

• Strong knowledge of evidence-based mental health interventions.
• Experience in service planning, evaluation and continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated leadership in coordinating youth mental health services.
• Eligibility for professional registration in relevant allied health field.

In this role, you will provide clinical and operational leadership across the service, ensuring young people aged 12-25 receive high-quality, evidence-based care in a safe, inclusive, and welcoming environment.

About the Role

As Team Leader, you will:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of headspace Upper Coomera.
• Provide clinical leadership, supervision, and support to a multidisciplinary team.
• Promote evidence-based practice and facilitate clinical review and multidisciplinary meetings.
• Support service planning, development, evaluation, and continuous improvement activities.
• Lead recruitment, performance management, workforce development, and team engagement initiatives.
• Monitor contracted practitioners and ensure compliance with organisational and headspace requirements.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships across the youth mental health sector.
• Contribute to innovative programmes, research activities, and service development initiatives.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Tertiary qualifications in Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Nursing or another discipline eligible for professional registration.
• Current registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership with the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW).
• Demonstrated experience leading and managing multidisciplinary clinical teams.
• Demonstrated experience providing clinical supervision and leadership to mental health and allied health professionals.
• Strong knowledge of evidence-based mental health interventions and contemporary clinical practice
• Current Australian Driver Licence.
• Working with Children Check (Blue Card).
• Ability to meet Lives Lived Well vaccination requirements.
• Willingness to travel as required.
