Job summary

G4S Australia and New Zealand's Long Bay Forensic Hospital is seeking a Team Leader to manage a dedicated security team on-site, overseeing officers and control room operations.

This permanent, full-time role focuses on on-floor leadership, rostering, training, and compliance with site policies, with Monday–Friday hours (7:30am–3:30pm). You will report to the Operations Coordinator and uphold high safety and service standards.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of supervisory or shift-lead experience in a security environment.
• Background in corrections, forensic health, airport security, or high-security sectors is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, mentor and manage day-to-day site operations and shift team members.
• Roster and coverage management in line with site demands and EBA requirements.
• Active on-floor support for operational activities, high-risk movements, patient escorts and handovers.
• Conduct routine inspections, audits and regular training checks to ensure standards.
• Utilise CCTV and security monitoring systems, maintain digital records and prepare operational reports.
