Job summary

Calvary Cordelia Grove in Anglesea, VIC is seeking a Team Leader to supervise and coordinate high-quality resident care alongside the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse. Casual shifts are available with a flexible roster to support resident wellbeing and staff development.

This role is open to Endorsed Enrolled Nurses with AHPRA registration, emphasizing leadership, communication, and compassionate care in a mission-driven healthcare environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Enrolled Nursing with AHPRA registration to administer medication.
• National police check is required.
• Knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control is preferred.
• Ability to use information technology and learn new programs.

Responsibilities

• Provide social and emotional support to residents with holistic, person-centred care.
• Coordinate care needs across the home including medication management, nutrition, hydration and pressure care.
• Lead/supervise care on shift within designated wing or area.
• Perform medicine-related tasks in accordance with scope of practice and Calvary policies.

About the role

The Team Leader plays an integral role in the provision of high-quality care to our residents at all times. The Team Leader supports the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse to supervise and coordinate care to the residents across the home whilst actively ensuring the individual needs, wishes and goals of each resident is met within an environment where they feel supported, valued and treated with dignity and respect.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide social and emotional support to all residents ensuring that care provision is holistic and person centred.
• Support the coordination of the care needs of residents across the home including medication management, nutrition and hydration, pressure care management
• Lead/supervise care on the shift, within their designated wing or area.
• Perform medicine related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation and Calvary policies, procedures for delegation and supervision.

About you

• Diploma of Enrolled Nursing (with AHPRA Registration to administer medication)
• High level of commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness
• An effective listener with the ability to communicate at all levels both orally and in writing
• Ability to understand and use information technology and programs and to learn new skills as required.
• Current National police check
• Working knowledge of WH&S and Infection Control
