Job summary

Maxlife Care Pty, a doctor-led NDIS provider delivering clinical, person-centred care, is seeking a Team Leader for our SIL house in Seven Hills, Sydney. You will oversee Disability Support Workers, ensure adherence to care plans, and collaborate with families, coordinators and health professionals.

The role requires leading a team, coordinating rosters well in advance, and maintaining compliance with NDIS standards while delivering hands-on client support where needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum three years experience supervising or leading a team of Disability Support Workers in a SIL or group home setting.
• Experience supporting clients with complex needs including psychosocial, physical and intellectual disabilities.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent; Certificate IV or Diploma is an advantage.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence and access to own vehicle is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise and develop your team of Disability Support Workers.
• Escalate concerns, incidents and complex matters to your Area Manager promptly and accurately.
• Support the Roster Coordinator to build and manage rosters four to six weeks in advance.
• Ensure all client care plans, including Behaviour Support Plans, are followed consistently and reviewed when client needs change.
• Provide hands-on support to clients as required, including personal care, meal preparation and daily living activities.

About Maxlife Care

Maxlife Care is a doctor-led NDIS provider delivering clinically robust, person-centred care to clients with complex and high-acuity needs. We are the only Supported Independent Living provider in NSW with an in-house team of GPs and nurses available 24/7. We are growing rapidly across NSW and are looking for experienced Team Leaders to join our SIL house in Seven Hills, Sydney.

About the Role

• Leading, supervising and developing your team of Disability Support Workers.
• Escalating concerns, incidents and complex matters to your Area Manager promptly and accurately.
• Supporting the Roster Coordinator to build and manage rosters four to six weeks in advance.
• Ensuring all client care plans, including Behaviour Support Plans, are followed consistently and reviewed when client needs change.
• Building strong relationships with clients, families, Support Coordinators and allied health professionals.
• Maintaining compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, relevant legislation and Maxlife Care policies, including mandatory reporting.
• Providing hands‑on support to clients as required, including personal care, meal preparation, medication administration and daily living activities.

About You

• Minimum three years experience supervising or leading a team of Disability Support Workers in a SIL or group home setting.
• Experience supporting clients with complex needs, including psychosocial disability, physical disability, intellectual disability, autism spectrum disorder and complex behaviours.
• Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) or equivalent. Certificate IV or Diploma is an advantage.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients, families and team members.
• Proactive, solutions-focused and able to manage competing priorities.
• Current NSW Driver's Licence and access to your own vehicle is desirable.
