Job summary

Calvary is seeking a Team Leader to support the Clinical Care Coordinator and Registered Nurse in supervising and coordinating care across the home while ensuring each resident’s needs and goals are met with dignity and respect. The role is open to Endorsed Enrolled Nurses or Personal Care Workers with appropriate qualifications.

Working Monday to Friday, 75 hours per fortnight, the position offers a stable, mission-based environment within one of Australia’s largest healthcare providers.

Qualifications

• Diploma of Enrolled Nursing with APRHA registration to administer medication.
• Commitment, integrity, honesty and trustworthiness.
• Effective listener with strong spoken and written communication.
• Ability to use information technology and learn new skills.
• Current National police check.
• Working knowledge of WHS and Infection Control.
• Desire to join a mission-based organisation caring for others.

Responsibilities

• Provide social and emotional support to all residents ensuring that care provision is holistic and person centred.
• Support the coordination of the care needs of residents across the home including medication management, nutrition and hydration, pressure care management.
• Lead/supervise care on the shift, within their designated wing or area.
• Perform medicine related tasks in accordance with scope of qualification, state or territory legislation, regulation and Calvary policies, procedures for delegation and supervision.
