Job summary

Compass Group Pty Limited in Pyrmont Sydney is seeking a Full-Time Kitchen Hand Team Leader to join our kitchen team at a leading global technology company. The role covers general kitchen duties, food prep, stock control, and maintaining high standards of food safety.

You will work Monday to Friday, 7am–7pm, with a positive team environment, on-site meals, and opportunities for internal moves. Previous kitchen experience and strong English communication are valued.

• Experience in a busy kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with general kitchen duties and cleaning.

$31.22 per hour + 12% super

We are currently seeking a Full-Time Kitchen Hand team leader to join our kitchen team in Pyrmont Sydney at a leading global technology company. This is an exciting opportunity for creative ‘foodies’ working within a close-knit team that will allow you to develop your skills and build your knowledge.

THE POSITION

• Monday to Friday shift between 7am to 7pm
• Assist with general kitchen duties and cleaning
• Food preparation assistance (We’d love it if you brought knife skills!)
• Stock rotation, stock control and goods receiving
• Operating a commercial dishwasher to a high standard
• Clear understanding of food safety and WHS
• You’ll be a team player, physically fit, fluent in English and have an eye for detail

THE PERSON

• Demonstrated experience working in a busy and faced paced kitchen hand role
• Highly regarded if you have previous knife skills
• Great team player! This is great team of people with great energy and desire to do a great job!
• Exceptional personal presentation – this role will be in the eye of our customer and you will be the face of the company to our customers
• Excellent communication skills with superior customer service skills
